"When I first saw Kenn demonstrating Tai Chi, I knew it was the right thing for me!"
As a registered nurse, I always believed that healing was beyond the physical. Tai Chi integrates our entire being in a gentle, calm yet powerful way. Practicing Tai Chi has enhanced my being in all dimensions.
I have been a clinical nurse and health educator for 40 years. My clientele is varied - diverse in every way imaginable. Throughout my career, I have worked to bring the value of complementary healing techniques into the traditional western medical world.
I have practiced and taught Tai Chi and stress management with Kenn since 1981. We co-created the TAM Program, a unique therapeutic lifestyle change and complementary heart disease reversal and prevention program. I continue to work as a clinical nurse and teach classes and workshops with Kenn.
In addition to my nursing background I have extensive background in dance and have participated in competitive swimming, distance running and worked as a professional photographer.
I believe that our bodies are a miraculous vehicle to explore our inner and outer worlds and continue my own journey of growth and self-knowledge. I've had the privilege to work with many reknowned Mind-Body teachers including; Charlotte Selver, Ilana Rubenfeld, Suzanne Scurlock-Duran, Jerry Jampolsky , Rick Hansen and of course, my husband, Kenn.
