About the Feldenkrais Method 



Developed by Moshe Feldenkrais as way to heal himself after a paralyzing accident he applied the principles of physics to his own healing and regained full function.  Lessons are generally done on the floor and are guided by a certified Practitioner.  The emphasis is on being aware of one's limits and working within those boundaries allowing for the gentle release of tension and holding in our musculature.  One learns from their own body to free themselves of habitual patterns which constrain and limit full movement, thus gaining greater range of motion and mobility.

The Feldenkrais Method integrates movement with awareness, sensing and feeling.  It offers expanded potential in creativity, problem solving and productivity.

Due to Covid we are not currently offering any Feldenkrais classes

Fee: $65 for a month (4 consecutive classes) or $20 "drop-in" rate (only this class)
